![]() However, she was proud of her Tennessee roots and her bond to her home state remained strong. Jeannie was a proud Wyomingite (who never lost her southern accent), and she truly loved her adopted state of Wyoming. She loved the idea of old structures with plenty of history and stories to tell. No matter where they went, she always tried to find old, dilapidated barns, covered bridges, lighthouses, churches, and the like. Jeannie and John never tired of traveling, and together they journeyed to countless beautiful and exciting destinations. ![]() She had a roaming spirit, and a never-ending desire to explore destinations near and far. Jeannie's loving nature was evident in her small deeds, words of encouragement, warm hugs, compassion, thoughtfulness, and her desire to make other's lives' better. Her love was contagious, and her caring nature and Southern charm left a lasting impression on all who met her. She had a tremendous love for her family and friends. Jeannie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and valued member of the Casper community. They married in Lexington, TN in 1978 and the two moved to Wyoming to start their life together. It was here that she met John Clements, her husband of 41 years. After high school, she attended Middle Tennessee State University and optician school at Southern College of Optometry. She went to Lexington High School, where she was involved in numerous clubs and activities. ![]() Jeannie's early years were spent in Lexington, TN, where she was surrounded by many friends and a large, close-knit family. Jeannie was born to James Roy Williams and Anna Marjorie (Anderson) Williams on Apin Jackson, TN. Jeannie Kay Williams Clements, of Casper, WY, passed away on Tuesday, Maat the age of 61.
